KVC9 - Rear View Mirror and Camera Kit
This mirror fits onto your existing rear view mirror with velcro straps. It is then fitted (wired in) to the car.
The camera needs to be fitted (wired in) to the car.

This new innovative multimedia product combines an add-on front located Rearview Optical Mirror with Built-in 6" Colour LCD TFT Display Screen. The Kit also includes a weatherproof metal barrel heavy duty CMOS Camera.
All wiring and instructions for an easy, straight-forward installation are included in this complete low-cost quality performance safety kit. This integration allows the driver to safely view obstacles behind a vehicle or trailer, day or night, via the included colour camera. An extra composite video input is included for use with any extra signal like using GPS Navigation Systems or horse float and cargo monitoring.

If connecting a GPS:
The KVC9 has two video inputs. One has a trigger wire linked to it which is connected to the reversing system. When voltage is applied to this trigger wire the reversing camera are activated and that channel displays the camera. When in the forward direction this channel switches off and reverts back to the other channel. The other channel accepts a Video input (similar to camera).
You can connect another camera to monitor what's happening in your vehicle or a video source. You will need to check with the GPS supplier as to the output of the GPS and whether it can be connected to a monitor which as a standard video input.
