To ensure you enjoy the best performance from your Aussie-Vac, you should replace filter bags every six months. Note: Paper filter bags cannot be reused, however reusable cloth bags are available for all Aussie-Vac models. When you replace a filter bag, make sure there is no loose material in the drum. After six months, filter bags may not be full, but they will not work at peak efficiency because of dust-clogging. For best results wipe the drum clean with a slightly damp cloth each time you replace a bag. Never use your Aussie-Vac without a filter bag as this will damage the motor and void any warranty. Note also, any fine substances such as talcum powder or ash will clog the bag. If you do vacuum a large amount of fine material, we suggest you change the filter bag immediately. Aussie-Vac also sells bags to suit most makes and models of ducted vacuum cleaners. Suitable for: AussieVac models AV1200, AV1300, AV1400, AV1600, AV2600 and AV2800.
